Animal Science Program
What will I learn?
The Animal Science Program provides in-depth knowledge about animal health, behavior and production. There are many careers in the food industry related to animal science, such as livestock production and management. In addition, animal science also applies to companion animals and their general health and well-being, training and use in recreation.
Students in 番茄社区's Animal Science program learn about biology, chemistry, range management, business management, soils and animal feeds. The program also includes general courses needed to transfer to a four-year institution. It is intended for students who plan to transfer to obtain a bachelor鈥檚 or master鈥檚 degree.
The program also allows students to study in 番茄社区鈥檚 state-of-the-art facilities and get hands on experience with livestock.
Associate of Science
The program focuses on science related to livestock, including animal biology and chemistry as well as animal reproduction. Students will also learn about range management and business management.

Agriculture Activities
Students have to opportunity to participate in clubs like the livestock show team, livestock judging team, ranch horse team, block and bridle club, intercollegiate horse show association team and in addition to industry field trips and internships.
